Club Standards and Conduct

Unfortunately a minority group of so called supporters once again have caused serious trouble, this time at our away fixture against Chesterfield FC. We can’t convey enough the severity of this situation and the impact to the innocent fans who could have been badly hurt. The implications to the Football Cub are also significant, with potential sanctions from the FA and increased stewarding and police costs . . . not to mention the overall reputation of FC Halifax Town.

The Police have taken this matter seriously and are currently working with us and Chesterfield to complete their investigation before pressing formal charges.

Going forward the Club will be adopting a ZERO tolerance policy to any supporters that fail to conduct themselves in the right way or fail to have respect for anyone else. Whether that’s flares, abusive behaviour or urinating in the stands we’ll be issuing immediate banning orders.Β  Away coaches and mini buses will also be subject to stop and searches on route and arrival to away fixtures.

If you do have any information on these individuals that seem fixated on causing these reoccurring issues, then please get in touch via our social media channels or tonyallan@fchalifaxtown.com.

If these words seem harsh, then they’re meant to be. These individuals are not welcome at our Club nor will we tolerate it.
