Our Youth Team is going through a transitional phase with the recent appointment of new Head Coach, Mike Jeffries.

In partnership with Strength and Conditioning coach, Andy Hollyhead and a soon to be appointed second coach, Mike delivers 6 sessions a week to our 1st & 2nd year players. They compete weekly in the National League Youth Alliance as well as the FA Youth Cup.

The players get regular opportunities to train with the first team, as well as featuring in games like last nights West Riding Cup match, that boasted 8 youth team players with 3 getting starts.

Players follow a BTEC Sport qualification delivered by new tutor Ben Hardaker in association with our partners at Calderdale College.

This season the Youth Team players have had some truly unique experiences, including playing in the PGMOL VAR Tournament at St. George’s Park, refereed by Premier League Refs and watched by England manager, Gareth Southgate.
