The Adam Heslop Cup (named after our no. 1 fan) has been running for 5 years and is a great way for the club to reach out to local schools.

As part of the run up to the competition we have delivered coaching sessions in over 30 primary schools, organised player visits, taken trophies won by the 1st team into assemblies and weโ€™ve even had the manager deliver a coaching session.

This year, thanks to our partnership with Colin Crowther at Brooksbank School we had 20 schools compete in the boys competition and 12 in the girls competition with plans to continue to grow the event every season.

In 2016 the National League Trust initiated their U11 Cup competition that ends with the final at Wembley.

The winners of the Adam Heslop Cup go into this competition to represent FC Halifax Town at regional & national level.

This year Copley boys and Walsden girls will travel to York on 15th February to compete in the regional event. Should they be successful they will move onto the northern finals and be one step closer to playing at Wembley.
