FC Halifax Town take on Morecambe in a FA Cup First Round Replay at The Shay
following a 0-0 draw at Morecambe’s Globe Arena on 10th November. The sides go into the game knowing that whoever should advance into the next round will face League One AFC Wimbledon at home.

Jamie Fullarton’s side go into the game having claimed their first league win since 27th August as they won 1-0 against Dover Athletic on Saturday (17th November). A Matty Kosylo goal separated the teams, scoring his fourth National League goal of the season. The win saw Halifax jump up to 12th in the table.
Kosylo is eligible to play in Tuesday’s tie, having served a one match suspension in the reverse fixture.
The Shaymen will be looking to build on their win last time out, as they once again play in front of a home crowd. Speaking after Saturday’s win, the boss was asked about the game against Morecambe saying: “We’re under no illusion how difficult it’s going to be here even though we’re at home. But the players will respond, obviously buoyant after the victory today. We’re looking forward to what will be a fantastic cup tie for us.”

As for Morecambe, they also go into the game on the back of a victory as they picked up a narrow away win at Forest Green, winning 1-0 thanks to Aaron Wildig’s goal.

This was their second successive win in League Two, a result that saw them cement themselves in 20th position in the table.

The winner of the tie as aforementioned will host AFC Wimbledon in Round Two. The tie will take on Saturday 1st December at 12:30pm, live on BT Sport.

Martin Coy will referee the game. So far this season, Coy has officiated 17 games issuing 41 yellow cards and two red cards.
