After originally scheduling a home game against Manchester City we have, due to unforseen circumstances had to find alternative opposition, and our friends from Bury have agreed to travel over the border for a battle of the roses clash. Saturday will see our an introduction to the squad of some of Matt Blackburn’s very successful junior team and hopefully exciting times ahead for AFC Halifax. Games against Bury A are always hard fought and we have probably played them more than any other team over the 12 years we have been going. We lost 5-2 over at Bury in the late summer, so we will be looking to avenge that defeat.
