This weekend saw FC Halifax Town travel down south to Berkshire to take on Maidenhead United FC. A win for the Shaymen would have seen them move up the table to providing other results went their way. However, this was not to be as the Magpies proved tough opposition as beat the West Yorkshire side 3-0. Josh Kelly scored two goals for Maidenhead during the game, his opener coming in the 12 minutes was followed by a 36th minute strike. Adrian Clifton’s goal was sandwiched between Kelly’s in the 18th minute. The home side were reduced to men minutes before the end when Ayo Obileye received his second yellow of the game in the 89th minute. The defeat for the Shaymen sees them fall to 9th in the table.

Harrogate Town where able to keep their spot at the top of the league by beating Maidstone United away from home in a 2-0 triumph thanks to goals from Callum Howe and Jack Muldoon. The pair are the club’s top scorers on a tally of 4 goals this season.

Second placed Wrexham FC continued their good form winning 4-1 against Ebbsfleet United at the Racecourse Ground to remain within one point of leaders Harrogate Town. The Dragon’s first three goals came within the opening 20 minutes and were scored on the 6th minute by Chris Holroyd which was followed by Rekeil Pyke’s strike to double Wrexham’s tally for the afternoon. The third goal was struck by Stuart Beavon before the final nail in the coffin came on the stroke of halftime which saw Shaun Pearson bag the winner. Ebbsfleet’s consolation came shortly after half time as Danny Kedwell fired home on 48 minutes.

Third placed Leyton Orient got back to winning ways with a 3-1 win over London neighbours Barnet at home. The games opener was struck on 12 minutes by Josh Coulson for Orient before Barnet equalised on 24 minutes through Wes Fonguck. The two teams went into half time level and the scores remained tied until James Dayton broke the deadlock on 68 minutes, then all three points were secured when top scorer Macauley Bonne fired home ten minutes later.

Salford City climbed two places from 6th to 4th as they beat the 10 men of Bromley away from home 2-0. A first half Rory Gaffney header opened the scoring on 36 minutes and they kept their 1-0 lead going into the break. In the second half a dangerous challenge from Adam Mekki saw him receive his marching orders after 52 minutes. Tom Walker made sure of the points on 61 minutes ensuring The Ammies travelled back up north with a victory.

AFC Fylde secured a 3-0 win over Aldershot at home the first goal of the afternoon came in the 43rd minute as Ryan Croasdale fired home the second goal of the game came two minutes later on half time as Serhat Tasdemir scored his first goal of the campaign. The game was wrapped up when Joe Cardle hit the back of the next on 62 minutes meaning they were able to move up from 7th to 5th.

Hartlepool United dropped two places from 4th to 6th after a 1-1 draw to Eastleigh at home. Niko Muir scored on 24 minutes for United as they looked to make a good start to the game only for this to be cancelled out in the 70th minute by Paul McCallum which saw the points shared.

Sutton United moved up into the play off places as they beat Havant and Waterlooville 2-1 away from home. Havant and Waterlooville opened the scoring as top scorer Nicke Kabamba struck the first goal of the game in the 32nd minute. Sutton had to wait a while for a response before Tommy Wright equalised on 60 minutes before Harry Beautyman made sure of a comeback tucking the ball home on 77 minutes.

Solihull Moors sent Dover Athletic to the foot of the table after disposing of them 2-0 on the south coast. In a game full of chances Jermaine Hylton made the breakthrough after 72 minutes before Danny Wright scored the second goal of the games seven minutes later in the 79th minute make sure the points headed back to the midlands.
Braintree Town secured their first win of the season by beating Gateshead 1-0 away from home. The only goal of the game came in the 55th minute as Joseph Ellum guided his header past Aynsley Pears.

A mid-table clash between Barrow and Boreham Wood saw the points shared as the teams played out a 1-1 draw in Hertfordshire. Both goals came in the last 10 minutes as Barrow struck first through John Rooney as he found the net on the 81st minute only for Boreham Wood to spoil their afternoon when Kieran Murtagh scored in added time to equalise.

Dagenham and Redbridge and Chesterfield also played out a 1-1 draw in Essex. Chesterfield took the lead on 13 minutes as Curtin Weston scored before the Daggers equalised in the 79th minute as Chike Kandi made sure the spoils where shared.
