FC Halifax Town will walk out in front of a home crowd once more this Tuesday when they welcome an in-form Wrexham to the MBi Shay Stadium. The game will get kick-off at 7:45pm under the lights.

The Shaymen will be looking to get back to winning ways in midweek after succumbing to a 2-0 defeat on Saturday when they travelled to Ebbsfleet United. Following the defeat Town have dropped down to 10th in the national League but are still just 3 points behind league leaders Dover Athletic.

Going into the match, Town can take confidence from their recent home form. They have won their last 4 games at the MBi Shay Stadium, with their most recent victory coming just over a week ago when they fought to beat Bromley 2-1 with 10 men.

Wrexham, who have been playing well recently, sit four places above Town in 6th position but have only picked up one more point. They come into the fixture having not suffered defeat since August when they were narrowly beaten by Maidstone United away from home.

Wrexham will have picked up a lot of confidence from this weekendโ€™s fixture at home to Sutton United, who were table toppers going into the weekendโ€™ fixtures. The game finished 1-1 but could have gone either way.

In terms of scoring goals, Town have the edge. So far, The Shaymen have notched up a tally of 15 goals compared to Wrexhamโ€™s 11. Although, the defensive records of the two sides tell a different story. Town have leaked 13 goals to this point whereas Wrexham have conceded just 7. The home team will look to use their superior goal scoring power to see off Tuesdayโ€™s opponents.
