Former FC Halifax Town midfielder Sam Walker has signed a two year deal with National League North side Stockport County.
Walker joined the Shaymen in 2015 from Curzon Ashton and enjoyed a successful 2015/16 season, being part of the squad who lifted the FA Trophy.
During his time at Curzon Ashton, he scored 41 goals and made over 200 appearances. The midfielder also captained the side to successive promotions during his time there.
He spent the 2016/17 season with Salford City F.C.
We wish him all the best at his new club.
