There is one game in the Vanarama National tonight with one of the longest trips in English football.

Gateshead will make the nearly 800 mile round trip to Devon to face Torquay United at Plainmoor.

The home side are currently 22nd in the table and have only won one game in their last five on home soil which was a 3-0 win over fellow strugglers Leyton Orient. They followed that game with a 0-0 at home to Aldershot and then last time out lost for the 8th time on the road with a 3-0 defeat at Tranmere Rovers.

Gateshead’s home match against Woking at the weekend was called off due to a frozen pitch and their last game in the league was on the 25th November when they drew 1-1 on their travels at Solihull Moors.

They have only the one loss in their last six games and will be hoping toย  move up to 13th in the table with a win against the Gulls.
