Mike Fondop-Talom was happy to score for the second time in a week and to get the second win in a week as Town beat Sutton United 2-1 at home.

โ€œGetting back into the goals last week was good, and I knew I had to keep doing that to help the team.โ€

The win against Sutton is the second straight win against promotion challengers after Town beat Boreham Wood 2-1 on Saturday.

โ€œThe win against Boreham Wood and today against Sutton United, which are promotion chasers, was important, the lads have been terrific, everyone has worked their socks off, the gaffer gave information, and everyone tried to put it on the pitch to do what he asked.โ€

The Shaymen now face a quick turnaround to get ready for Thursday nightโ€™s game against Gateshead.

โ€œTo play three or four 90-minute games consecutively isnโ€™t easy, so we will see, but the confidence is up in the changing room, thereโ€™s a great togetherness.โ€

โ€œWere definitely looking forward to getting another win, we are left with four games to go get 12 points from the last 4 games, why not.โ€

โ€œThey were terrific and really important,โ€ said Fondop-Talom when asked about the fantastic support from the Town supporters.
