Halifax Town Supporters Club and Shaymen Down South are pleased to announce that last season’s popular fund-raising scheme is now available for 2016/17 sponsorships.
The scheme mainly represents your opportunity to sponsor every goal scored by FC Halifax Town in 2016/17 in the Vanarama National League North, FA Trophy and FA Cup. The minimum sponsorship per goal is £0.25 and, as last year, every sponsor’s name will be included in each match day programme.
This year we wish to further extend the sponsorship possibilities under this ‘Goal O Meter’ scheme to include more diverse inventive sponsorships, for eg:-
£X per hat-trick
£X per clean sheet
£X per league point
£X per Town scoring in 5 consecutive games
£X per Town scoring four or more goals in one game
£X per Town finishing as Champions
£X per Town finishing in top 5
£X per penalties saved by any Town goalkeeper
The more inventive the better – essentially it’s an opportunity to sponsor ‘owt’!

To help spread the cost, we will be requesting settlement on the goals scored in the first half of the season/related sponsorships at the end of December. Alternatively payments can be made at any time. All cheque payments to be made to Halifax Town Supporters Club.
It’ good to report that last year, nearly £2000.00 was raised by this scheme to contribute towards our team’s Coach Travel expenses. It has been decided that monies will be similarly ‘ring-fenced’ this year.
