Billy Heath was in good spirits after the 2-0 home victory to Rochdale in Town’s first home pre- season friendly of the season.
“It’s been a good night tonight. First half we changed our formation, we played 3-5-2, and done really well after not really doing any work on it.”
“Second half, we switched personnel and switched back to our usual formation, the quality was at a high level to be fair, and just a very good night.”
Heath spoke to Shaymen TV ahead of another tough game over the weekend as he prepares his side to take on a Carlisle side under the management of Keith Curle.
“We’ve set the standard now, it will be another tough game. They know there is competition for places, it was a good start tonight and lets go again.
