We’re delighted to announce this years festive partnership with Calderdale Smartmove – Calderdale SmartMove is a registered charity that assists homeless and vulnerably housed people to find accommodation in Calderdale. Christmas is a time for giving and we’re asking our supporters and our corporate partners to help us collect vital supplies for these extremely vulnerable individuals and families at this particularly difficult time of year.
Smartmove have asked for our support by collecting the following items:
- household cleaning products
- toiletries
- warm clothing
- Children’s Christmas presents wrapped with a tag on stating whether suitable for a girl/boy and the age
- flasks
- duvets
- pillows
So how can you donate?
We’ll have collection crates in the reception area of the stadium and within the pop-up shop. You can drop off your items on a match-day, when the pop-shop is open or through the week. The next time you go shopping we’d ask you to buy that extra bottle of shower gel or a small gift for a child – it really will make a difference to someone.
The Club Shop is open on Saturday 1pm to 3pm as well as the main reception area on Saturday.
