FC Halifax Town will travel to Hartlepool on Tuesday night for their 21st League game of the season.

The Shaymen are still looking for their 7th win of the season after their last win in the League coming on the 23rd of September, 9 games ago against Bromley. Halifax came out 2-1 winners on that day but have yet to outscore their opponents since.

With 4 draws and 5 losses in the last ten, it’s been a difficult spell for Billy Heath’s men. But the side have stuck with it, grinding out some difficult draws and still maintaining their spot safely 8 points outside the relegation zone.

As for our hosts on Tuesday, Hartlepool are still chasing the top 7, only four points off 7th place Bromley. However, the team from County Durham are only 3 points ahead of the Shaymen sitting in 14th place on 28 points.

Despite this, the form of Craig Harrisons side has been far superior in the recent games.  Hartlepool have only lost two of their last ten games, winning 4 of them and drawing the other 4.

There is a possibility of a Halifax win though. The home side have struggled at home recently, losing on Saturday to Aldershot and drawing with Tranmere and Sutton in their latest games at Victoria Park.
