FC Halifax Town under 19s cut the gap to the top of the National League U19s Alliance to just three points after they thrashed Darlington U19s 10-1.
Victory for Halifax sees them sit just one behind table-toppers South Shields and second-placed Guiseley with seven league fixtures still play.
The result is also the second time this season that the young Shaymen have scored double figures after they defeated Harrogate Town 10-0 back in October.
Eliel Anku and James Sunderland both scored doubles for the Shaymen, both from the bench, the latter reaching double figures for the season whilst the former remains the sideβs top goal-scorer on 12 goals.
The other goal-scorers for Town were Jack Knight, Sam Clayton, Kelan Swales, Marko Basic, Ousman Cham and Edward Tordoff.
