Dag & Red: Other FA Cup Previews

The Shaymen have made it into the first round of the FA Cup for the fourth year in a row, and will be hoping to go one further than they have ever managed before, but face a stout Dagenham & Redbridge side who will provide fierce competition.

Elsewhere in the FA Cup, 40 matches shall be played over the duration of the weekend. The televised games include national league side taking on Swindon Town on Friday night on BBC2. On Saturday Isthmian League, Premier Division side face Oxford United as they hope to stage a dramatic giant killing, the game is shown live on BT Sport 1. And the final televised game of the weekend falls on Monday, as Fleetwood Town travel to Southport, shown live on BT Sport 1.

Elsewhere in the FA Cup a handful of National League North teams are still fighting in the competition. Stockport County play host to National League side Woking.

Alfreton Town FC face struggling Newport County who sit at the bottom of League Two.

Play-off hopefuls Kidderminster Harriers travel to Blackpool who currently sit 14th in League Two.

Struggling Altrincham FC, who have just seven points from 16 National League North games travel to high flying National League side Lincoln City.

After a stellar second half against the Shaymen, in form side Brackley travel to Gillingham.

Curzon Ashton face Westfields FC, who currently play in the Midland League Premier Division.
