Danny Clarke was pleased to be on the winning side as FC Halifax Town secured a play-off place in a convincing 3-0 win over Curzon Ashton.
Goals from Dion Charles, Danny Hone and an own goal from Joe Guest kept Halifaxโs promotion dreams alive.
The Shaymen are currently third in the league with 77 points to their name, only two behind Kidderminster Harriers who drew 1-1 with relegation contenders, Gainsborough earlier today.
In an exclusive interview with Shaymen Player, the former North Ferriby United captain said: โWe did the job with a clean sheet and three goals. Thereโs not much more you can ask for.โ
Halifax travel to Chorley next Saturday for their last game of the season. The Magpies currently sit in sixth position level on points with Salford City.
Although the Shaymen have a play-off position already secured, Billy Heathโs side will still be eager to pick up their final three points of the season.
When asked about travelling to Chorley next weekend, Clarke said: โObviously, I think they need to get a result next week so it will be really tough but nothing will phase us at the minute, weโre not conceding goals and weโre scoring them.โ
The former Hull United man signed for The Shay in November 2016 on an 18-month contract and has made 16 appearances this season.
Clarke also went on to speak about a key moment in the season saying: โI think the Kidderminster game.
โIf we can go to a place like that and get victories then yeah we donโt fear anyone.โ
