FC Halifax Town manager Billy Heath spoke positively after Town’s draw against Chester has extended their winless streak in the Vanarama National League.

He believes that “any point away from home in this league is a positive” and will look forward to their home fixture against Dover where the lads will have a good chance to clinch their first win of the season.

Heath made one change from the side that picked up their first point of the season against Barrow. When reflecting on the game, the gaffer was confident that the squad he chose were the right men for the job and is optimistic that the side he will choose to face Barrow will do a good job.

However, with the Shaymen still awaiting their first goal in their National League campaign, the gaffer hopes that the side can be more clinical in front of goal in hopes of ending their run of no wins and no goals.

He said “after three games in this league we’re very competitive, we’re very solid and the players have given 100%”
