FC Halifax Town will be looking to put the disappointing midweek exit in the Emirates FA Cup as they entertain AFC Telford at The Shay, looking to make it a double over The Bucks.ย
The Shaymen lost 2-0 to Eastleigh in the FA Cup second round, with opponents Telford getting knocked out of the FA Trophy on Saturday losing 4-0 to Kidderminster Harriers.

Current Form:ย
Billy Heathโ€™s side have not been in the best form over the last month, with the victory over Dagenham & Redbridge midway through November being The Shaymenโ€™s last win. This will be The Shaymenโ€™s first league game in just under a month losing 4-2 to Curzon Ashton in the last National League North match. Like Halifax, Telford have not been in the greatest of form either, with the side losing four of them last six matches, despite this they earned themselves a fantastic victory over promotion pushing Darlington during this time.

Key-Man:

Josh Wilson will be AFC Telfordโ€™s key-man when they visit the MBi Shay for the reverse fixture. The 28-year-old had a brief spell with Halifax back in 2014 where he scored seven times in 22 outings. Wilson is comfortable playing either up front or in midfield and has scored five goals in all competitions for the goal shy outfit this term. Wilson signed for the Midlands side in February 2016 from fellow National League North side AFC Fylde and finished as Telfordโ€™s second top goal scorer in the 2015/16 season despite arriving two thirds of the way through the season.
Last Meeting:

The last meeting between these two sides came earlier on in the season at the New Bucks Head which saw The Shaymen record a 2-1 victory, and get back to winning ways after losing two consecutive matches prior to this. The home side took the lead through Dwayne Samuels early in the second half, but just seven minutes later and Halifax were level courtesy of Richard Peniket.ย In the second half club captain King returned to the side and grabbed the winner from close range to make sure his side took three points back to the Shay.
