FC Halifax Town will make the journey to the west coast against fellow unbeaten side AFC Fylde

Billy Heath will be looking for a repeat of his sides convincing 4-0 victory over Tamworth last time out. Meanwhile Fylde will be looking to get back to winning ways after playing out an entertaining 3-3 draw at home to Salford City.

Current Form:

Both teams currently sit second and third with only goal difference separating the two sides. The Coasters having that single goal advantage put them just behind leaders Darlington 1883. Dave Challinor’s side haven’t settled into life in their new stadium as well as hoped, having drew the opening two matches. This could be something The Shaymen could capitalise on. The league’s top two goal scorers will come up against each other. Fylde have Danny Rowe in their ranks to call on, who has scored seven, and Halifax with target man Tom Denton who has six goals to his name.

FC Halifax Town: WDWDW

AFC Fylde: WDWWD

Key-Man:

The Lancashire side come into this fixture with the league’s top goal scorer in Danny Rowe on seven goals. That tally was helped against Alfreton with him scoring over half of them (four goals) last Saturday.

Last Meeting:

Since the formation of FC Halifax Town these two sides have only met one one occasion, that being seven years ago. The Shaymen recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory on home turf, with Steve Payne opening the scoring and James Dean bagging a brace at The Shay.
