FC Halifax Town were defeated 1-0 away at Torquay this afternoon courtesy of Ade Azeez’s second half header.

In other results in the Vanarama National League, Boreham Wood are now unbeaten in their last 15 league games with a 1-0 win over Yeovil Town thanks to Kabongo Tshimanga’s 73rd minute goal

Wrexham got back to winning ways with a 2-0 away victory against Bromley, the hosts havent won now in seven league games. David Keillor-Dunn put the North Wales side ahead on 11 minutes before Jordan Ponticelli made the result safe in the final minute of the game.

A hattrick for substitute Nathan Tyson and one from Curtis Weston helped Chesterfield extend their lead over Ebbsfleet to seven points following a 4-0 win over the Kent side at the Proact Stadium. Chesterfield are now just a point behind Maidenhead but still sit in the relegation places.

Barnet return south with a 1-0 win over bottom of the table Chorley this afternoon with Paul McCallum’s second minute goal. The Magpies have not won in their last 11 league games whilst the Bees sit in 12th in the table.

Two first half goals from Mitch Brundle and Angelo Balanta helped Dagenham & Redbridge to a 2-0 over Solihull Moors which sees them just a point above Chesterfield

AFC Fylde went ahead at Dover Athletic this afternoon courtesy of Tom Walker’s sixth minute penalty but they were hit for five with Dover’s Dominic Poleon equalising before a hattrick for Inih Effiong and susbtitute Bobby-Joe Taylor rounding off the victory.

Josh Falkingham, Jack Diamond and former Town loanee Jack Muldoon were on target as Harrogate Town earnt a 3-0 win over Eastleigh at the CNG Stadium for their 12th home victory of the campaign

Hartleppol made it back to back wins in the league for the first time since October with a 2-0 win over play-off chasing Notts County thanks to two goals from Nicky Featherstone in the second half in front of 3839 fans at Victoria Park.

Aldershot ended a run of five games without a win with a 2-1 victory away at Maidenhead United. Dean Rance put the Shots ahead before Harry Panayiotou doubled their lead. Maidenhead pulled one back through defender Remy Clerima but Aldershot held on for victory.

Danny Lloyd put Stockport ahead this afternoon away at Woking on 6 minutes but they were denied three points with Alex Wall equalising for the Cards just five minutes later.

In the final game of the day, Barrow dropped another two points with a 2-2 away draw at Sutton United.

Two goals from Scott Quigley put the league leaders ahead but two goals from Harry Beautyman including one from the penalty spot earnt a point for Sutton.
