Following FC Halifax Town’s 1-0 win away at Sutton United, we look at other key results from around the Vanarama National League from Tuesday 29th October.

Top of the table Bromley drew 2-2 at home to Stockport County. The home side went one nil up 18 minutes into the game thanks to Reeco Hackett-Fairchild. Stockport soon equalised though through Elliott Osbourne just six minutes later. Stockport then took the lead with a Tom Walker goal. Bromley just took three minutes to equalise as Miniham put the ball into his own net.

Struggling Chorley suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat at home to Ebbsfleet. It took the visitors just five minutes to take the league through Marvel Ekpiteta. Gozie Ugwu then doubled Ebbsfleet’s lead just before halftime. Ugwu then got his second on the hour mark before Albie Morgan made it four late on.

Fellow Yorkshire side Harrogate continued their winning ways with a 2-1 win over Barnet. Jack Muldoon opened the scoring after 15 minutes, four minutes later it was 2-0 thanks to a George Smith goal. David Tutonda pulled one back for Barnet, but it wasn’t enough to win a point.

Woking also suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat this time at the hands of Notts County. Enzio Boldewijn opened the scoring after seven minutes Wes Thomas made it 2-0 after 18 minutes before the pair both scored again in the second half to make it Notts County four, Woking nil.

Halifax take on Torquay on Saturday who ran out 1-0 victors against Wrexham. Liam Davies’ goal in the second half was enough to secure all three points for The Gulls.
