FC Halifax Town were held to a 0-0 draw at The Shay on Tuesday night against Chorley. Shaymen TV spoke to Jerome Binnom-Williams after the game.

The Shaymen were dominant throughout the game and Jerome spoke about how they struggled to break The Magpies down; โ€œThey came with a game plan to just sit off us, they tried to make us break them down. Obviously, I think we could have done a lot better breaking them down, but weโ€™ve done well to keep the ball. It was good but it felt like we dropped two points today.โ€

The Left-Back played further forward on the left wing as the game progressed with Chorley never really looking like attacking. He spoke of his joy of going forward; โ€œI loved it. I obviously enjoyed going forward, but I felt like I could have added a bit more quality to slide in my forward or winger. โ€œ

Binnom-Williams talked about how they had learnt from the defeat against Harrogate. The Sulphurites also took a defensive approach very similar to The Magpies; โ€œDefinitely. Against Harrogate we attacked, attacked and then boom, they scored last minute. If you look at tonight, we had a few more players behind the ball when we pushed men forward. We have learnt from our mistakes in the defensive aspect but attacking we didnโ€™t create as many chances.

The Shaymen have another tough game at the weekend against Boreham Wood;โ€ All the team in this league are difficult. Obviously, we are at the top, so everyone is going to try and knock us off the down. Many teams will look to come her and sit back and counter. Boreham are a good team so we have got to be on our A game. We need to rest up and go again Saturday. โ€œ
