FC Halifax Town are looking to get back to winning ways this weekend, as The Shaymen travel to Meadow Lane for the round of Vanarama National League action. Here we will look at the form of the two teams.

Notts County have struggled to get going in the fifth tier of English football, this is the first time The Magpies have played at this level in their 157-year history.

The Magpies come into this game on the back of two consecutive draws against Sutton United (1-1) and Solihull Moors (0-0). Our hosts for these weekends match currently sit in 14th position on 11 points. With just the win against Chorley (5-1) in their last five match’s and with three draws, Notts County have just got two wins so far this season. Only against Harrogate Town and Chorley have The Magpies got that winning feeling this season.

But that isn’t saying Neil Ardley’s side are rolling over, they just have the one loss against Yeovil Town (3-1) in their last five match’s. The Magpies are somewhat draw specialists so far this season having drawn five match’s, joint highest in the league with Chesterfield.

Defensively, The Magpies are looking good conceding 12 goals out of their 10 games. Which is only two more when compared to The Shaymen.

Town will be looking to get back to winning ways after a 2-0 loss to Yeovil last weekend at The Shay. Putting an end to a five-game undefeated streak and four wins in a row.

Even though The Shaymen drew a blank at the weekend, Pete Wild’s side still are top scorers in the league having got a total of 19 goals, Liam McAlinden Towns top scorer has got five of them.

Defensively the Shaymen have are third in the defensive stats, with 10 goals conceded. Woking have conceded eight goals, Maidenhead United and Barnet both have let nine goals slip past them.
