After last weekends 2-0 loss at home to Yeovil Town, we spoke to Tobi Sho-Silva about the upcoming week and the next match against Notts County. But first the striker began with his reaction to the 2-0 loss.

“We didn’t start to well obviously with the early goal of course. But I think we grew into it and just didn’t put our chances away. We gave everything that we could. In a few battles they dominated us.”

Then asked about possibly this being the toughest test of the season Sho-Silva had this to say.

“On a personal probably yes. For the team maybe yes, they were quite an experienced side. We have a few young players so we got to learn from that.”

First loss of the season at home. Sho-Silva isn’t wanting changes.

“We don’t need to change anything, we just go again and work hard. Obviously we are not going to get carried away, we are not going to get too low. We have had a good start to the season and we want to continue that run and this is hopefully a little blip.”

Next up is a trip to Meadow Lane an iconic English football league stadium. Sho-Silva is looking forward to getting into action down there.

“I’ve never played there before, never been there before. I’ve heard that it is a nice ground, it has got a lot of history so it will be good challenge. And obviously I want to play well for me and the team.”
