Table toppers FC Halifax Town will play host to Yeovil Town in this weekendโ€™s Vanarama National League action. Here we will look at the form of the two sides.
The recently relegated Glovers have made hard work of their return to the fifth tier of English football, for the first time since 2003. Yeovil currently sit in ninth position with 13 points on the board.

Neale Marmon’s side feel they have turned a corner now. After picking a 3-1 home win over fellow relegated side Notts County, which was followed up with a 1-0 win on Tuesday night against Sutton United.

The back-to-back victories for The Glovers couldn’t have come at a better time for the side after three consecutive losses. Joe Quigley scored a 95th minute winner for Dagenham & Redbridge in a 3-2 defeat for Yeovil. Maidenhead United held onto a 2-1 win at Huish Park. Former Shaymen Scott Quigley scored the only goal for Barrow in a 1-0 win.

Yeovil Form: WWLLL

The Shaymen will head into the fixture this Saturday on top form. Undefeated in five games, winning four and the one draw.

Town have scored 12 goals in that five-game period, giving them 19 goals in the nine games in the league so far. Meaning Pete Wilds men are the best attacking force in the league.

Defensively, The Shaymen have conceded the eight goals. Again, Town are at the top end of the charts. As Town have the joint second defence in the league with Maidenhead United, one behind Woking have conceded seven goals.
