FC Halifax Town rescued a point away at Aldershot courtesy of fullback Jerome Binnom-Williams header with his first goal for the Club.
The home side had gone ahead in the first minute through George Fowler’s first goal of the campaign.
In the other games, Woking won 4-1 away against Town’s next opponents AFC Fylde.
Dave Tarpey put the Cards ahead with his second goal of the season followed by Kane Ferdinand doubling the advantage for his second of the campaign
Lewis Montrose on his first appearance of the season pulled one back for the home side but a second bookable offence for Ryan Croasdale saw Fylde reduced to 10 men for the final 10 minutes
Two goals from Jake Hyde in the final 7 minutes including one from the penalty spot ensured the three points to make it four wins from five for the newly promoted side
New signing Mike Fondop-Talom put Chesterfield ahead away at Barnet, however the lead wasn’t to last long as two minutes Jack Taylor curled home an effort to equalise for the Bees.
Former Town striker Fondop-Talom grabbed his second just after the break but Barnet weren’t to be denied and a Simeon Akinola penalty earnt them a point.
A Tommy Wright goal 8 minutes from time gave Sutton United their second win of the season as they wonย 1-0 away win at Boreham Wood with his first goal of the campaign
Angelo Balanta had an eventful game for Dagenham as they beat Harrogate 4-2 at Victoria Road.
Balanta scored an own goal to put the visitors ahead before Chike Kandi equalised for the Daggers.
Brendan Kiernan restored Harrogate’s lead but Mitch Brundle equalised before the half hour mark
However Balanta would turn hero as a brace in the second half ensured the points to give Pete Taylor’s side just their second win of the season.
Another player who had an eventful afternoon was Asa Hall for Torquay United. He put the Devon side ahead before Jamie Reid doubled the lead. However Hall was sent off with two minutes to go handling an Alfie Pavey header which was goalbound. Inih Effiong fired home the penalty but couldn’t get any points out of the game.
Three defeats from the opening five games for Hartlepool United as they lost 3-2 at home to Bromley
MIchael Cheek put Bromley ahead before Gavan Holohan equalised just four minutes later.
Reeco Hackett-Fairchild restored the lead again before Gus Mafuta equalised before the break but Bromley weren’t to be denied and Hackett-Fairchild ensured the points for the Kent side
Maidenhead were comprehensive 4-1 winners over Chorley this afternoon.
Josh Kelly put the home side ahed before former Town striker Marcus Carver equalised a minute later. However goals from Jake Cassidy from the penalty spot and two injury time goals from Danny Whitehall were enough for Alan Devonshire’s side
Solihull stay top of the league with a 2-1 home win over Ebbsfleet United.
Myles Weston put the visitors ahead before Jamey Osborne equalised before the break.
Jack King, who was sent off on the opening day of the season, scored the winner for Solihull Moors with his own goal with just 10 minutes.
