It’s that time of the week again where we round up the latest news taking place elsewhere around the National League. Take a look.

Sutton United have welcomed back an old face to Gander Green Lane as former defender, Jason Goodliffe has returned to the club as Assistant to Matt Gray. His last spell in management came in a caretaker role at Woking.

Sticking with Assistant Manager’s, Wrexham have secured the services of theirs as Brian Flynn has agreed to remain in his position at the Racecourse Ground.

League new boys, Yeovil Town have appointed a new manager in the last week following their relegation from League Two. Darren Sarll has taken over at Huish Park and the former Stevenage boss aims to take the club back to the Football League.

Moving into the Football League next season will be AFC Fylde midfielder, James Hardy after he has agreed a deal with League Two Walsall having impressed in Fylde’s run to the play-off final last season.

And finally, many National League clubs have already begun their pre-season preparations. Whilst no friendly matches are scheduled to take place this week involving National League sides, the build-up to the big kick off on the opening day is underway.
