Liam Hogan was a regular for FC Halifax Town between 2010 and 2013, scoring three goals in the process.

This was just the start of his senior career having spent most of his youth career at Woodley Sports. He mostly plays as a centre-back, however is also capable of playing in the right-back position.

In 2013, following an impressive three years with the Shaymen, Fleetwood Town snapped him up for two years as he began his Football League career.

Whilst at Highbury, Hogan made 20 appearances in the 2013/14 season before being loaned out to Macclesfield Town where he built up just nine appearances in his time there.

In 2015, Liam travelled to Tranmere where he would spend just one season. During his year at Prenton Park, he featured in 18 games, scoring twice in those matches.

Liam Hogan was then on the move again, this time to the North East and Gateshead. This proved to be a successful move for the defender as he was pretty much the first name on the team sheet each week. Having made 44 appearances for the club, he then moved on to his current club.

He took the step down to the National League North to feature for the rising Salford City. And following two successive promotions, can now expect to play League Two football next season. So far, Hogan has made an impressive 77 appearances for the club, netting five times.
