A 10-man FC Halifax Town side lost out on a point in the final minute of the game. Josh Wilson was sent off minutes before the halftime break with the scores level. Craig Mahon was able to take advantage for Chester 10 minutes after the restart. James Bolton thought he had earned a point for The Shaymen when he scored in the 94th minute, but Jamie Mengah was able to put Chester back in front from the kick-off.
