Chorley have defeated Spennymoor United 4-3 on penalties to seal promotion to the Vanarama National League this afternoon.
The match had finished 0-0 after 90 minutes, both side’s scored in extra time through Scott Leather and then Glen Taylor equalised and the match went to penalties which sealed promotion for the Magpies.
In the Vanarama National League South final, Woking defeated Welling United 1-0 to win promotion back up to the National League at the first attempt following relegation last season.
