This Good Friday sees Halifax Town return to Victoria Park for the first time since the end of 2017. The shaymen go into the game off the back of a 2-2 home draw against Bromley, while Pools drew 1-1 at Aldershot last time out.
The sides go into the game level on points with the hosts sitting one place below Halifax on goal difference in 16th position.
Victory for the Shaymen could see them move as high as 12th in the table providing results go in their favour, and they will certainly be looking to make amends for the loss they suffered at MBi Shay stadium against The Pools in September.

A first National League encounter between the two sides saw The Shaymen suffer a convincing loss as the home side ran out 4-0 winners.
Going into the game, Halifax Town were without a win in eight, and The Pools extended that poor run of form.
Defender Nicky Deverdics opened the scoring for Hartlepool after just 4 minutes, before Rhys Oates was adjudged to have been fouled in the area and the hosts were given a penalty which Liam Donnelly converted.
Striker Oates added to the score-line before the break to make it 3-0 and cap a poor first half for The Shaymen.
In the second half Hartlepool’s Conor Newton grabbed his first goal for the club to pile on the misery for Halifax and round off a convincing win for Hartlepool.

The reverse fixture in the season saw The Shaymen avenge the hammering they received in September by Hartlepool after a comprehensive home win.
The visitors had numerous chances to take the lead in the first half, with Laing hitting the bar before Cassidy saw his effort hit the post.
However, it was the home side that took the lead on 75 minutes courtesy of Nathan Hotte’s deflected shot which ended up in the back of the net.
The lead was doubled just 3 minutes later after United keeper Scott Loach parried a shot straight to Ben Tomlinson, who made no mistake in placing the ball into the back of the net to seal the win for The Shaymen.
The result meant Town recorded their first victory of 2018.
Home loss in fiery encounter- FC Halifax Town 1-2 Hartlepool United, 22nd September 2018
The Shaymen fell to a 2-1 defeat at home and finished the game with just 9 men with captain Manny Brown and Matty Kosylo both seeing red in the space of just 7 minutes.
Halifax went into the game without a win in 4 games and it was stretched to 5 by the visitors.
Early in the second half Halifax skipper Manny Brown was adjudged to have stamped on a Hartlepool player inside his own penalty area, receiving a straight red for his actions and giving the away side a penalty, which Liam Noble converted.
Shortly after, Matty Kosylo was also given his marching orders, receiving a second yellow for a tackle from behind, with his first coming during the aftermath of Brown’s dismissal.
With just 9 men on the pitch the Shaymen struggled to contain the visitors and conceded a second goal on 64 minutes from Nicky Featherstone following a short corner.
The Shaymen did pull a goal back on 88 minutes through Jacob Hanson, but it was only a consolation as they were condemned to defeat.
