FC Halifax Town are inย Vanaramaย National League action at the MBi Shay Stadium for the third time in a week, as Maidenhead United make the journey to West Yorkshire.

Town played out a 0-0 draw to Ebbsfleet United on Tuesday night at the Shay, whilst the Magpies took a step in the right direction beating relegation rivals Havant & Waterlooville 2-1 on Tuesday.ย

It has been a difficult March for the Magpies, facing the likes of Harrogate Town, Ebbsfleet United, Sutton United and AFC Fylde right at the beginning of March and of course all these teams are vying for a play-off position. But the Magpies have picked up points against they would expect such as Havant & Waterlooville and Dagenham & Redbridge. Also, a surprise three points after Ryan Upward scored a 95th minute winner against Sutton United.

March for the Shaymen has been a great month for Jaime Fullarton’s side picking up 11 out of 18 points. March started off with a winner from a surprising source from midfielder James Ferry. Then Ferry scored once again in the 3-0 home win against Barnet before his loan spell ended and returned toย Stevenage. The only low point was the 2-1 defeat to Dover Athletic in the middle of March.

If you are unable to make it down to the Shay this Saturday. You can listen to live commentary from the ground on Shaymen Audio from 2:45pm for a 3pm kick off.
