FC Halifax Town host Ebbsfleet United tonight. 12 other teams from around the Vanarama National League are also in action in a busy week of football.
FC Halifax Town (14th) v Ebbsfleet United (9th)
This fixture was meant to be played on the 9thof March but was a late cancellation due to the weather. However, the game will now occur on Tuesday night.
The Shaymen have only lost 2 games in 2019 in the League and will be hoping to push on from Saturday’s excellent performance against Solihull Moors.
Ebbsfleet are also in a decent run of form winning all of their last three games including a 2-0 win over Maidstone on Saturday.
When the two sides met earlier in the season at Stonebridge Road, The Fleet came away with the win, putting four past Sam Johnson.
Barnet (17th) v Aldershot Town (22nd)
A really important game for Aldershot as they need to start picking up points to try and escape relegation. A win on Saturday against Boreham Wood has sparked some hope into the recovery but will it be too late for The Shots?
Barnet are 8 points above the relegation zone and with games in hand due to their FA Cup run, they should have nothing to worry about.
Boreham Wood (18th) v Solihull Moors (2nd)
Halifax’s victims on Saturday will be looking to return to winning ways against Boreham wood midweek and get back to the top of the table. Currently level on points with Leyton Orient having played 2 more games, Tim Flowers’ side will need to win most of their remaining games to gain automatic promotion.
Boreham Wood haven’t won in 4 games and are slowly slipping down the table. When these two sides met before the match ended scoreless.
Dagenham & Redbridge (16th) v Dover Athletic (20th)
4 points separate the two sides before the game at Victoria Road on Tuesday. The previous fixture saw Dagenham and Redbridge win 2-0. Neither team played on Saturday and will be eager to fight this one out for all three points.
Leyton Orient (1st) v AFC Fylde (5th)
An important game at the top of the table with both sides still with a realistic title chance. Leyton Orient are the favourites with 2 games in hand on second place Solihull Moors, but Fylde could have an outside chance. Also, having played 2 games less than Solihull and 3 less than Wrexham, Fylde could leapfrog them if they make the games count.
Fylde will be looking for revenge as they lost this fixture 3-1 earlier on in the season.
This is a practice run of the FA Trophy Final as both sides won their semi-finals on Saturday to set up the tie at Wembley.
Maidenhead United (19th) v Havant & Waterlooville (21st)
Only six points separate the two sides in a must-win game for the away team. Both sides lost their last games and will be looking to pick up some points in this midweek fixture.
In the previous game between these two, Havant won 7-0 in a crazy game which saw the Maidenhead goalkeeper sent off.
Wednesday Night: Harrogate Town (6th) v Salford City (4th)
Salford City top the form charts over the last five games winning 4 and drawing their game on Saturday against Barnet. While Harrogate have won 3 lost 1 and drawn 1 over the same period of time. If results go their way, Salford could be level on points at the top of the table come Thursday.
