Paul Doswell, manager of Sutton United has taken a temporary break from football due to personal reasons, the club have recently announced.

The fans’ favourite has been in south west London for over ten years and will be out for the rest of the campaign, as the U’s battle for a play-off spot.

Ian Baird will take the helm at Sutton for the remainder of the season.

Former Forest Green Rovers chairman and former National League director, Trevor Horsley has sadly passed away aged 61.

Details of the Yorkshireman’s funeral will be announced in the future.

Everyone at FC Halifax Town would like to pass on their condolences to Trevor’s family and friends at this difficult time.

In other news, Boreham Wood have commenced construction on their new stadium.

The club have an agreement with Arsenal to stage development and ladies’ matches at Meadow Park. This build also includes the introduction of Premier League-Standard dressing rooms.

This progress comes five years after them submitting their initial application.
