Following FC Halifax Town’s brilliant 1-0 win over fifth placed Eastleigh, Ben Rowland spoke with debutant, Devante Rodney, about how he is looking forward to getting more game time and up to speed with Shaymen. Speaking about his part in the game today he said:
“It was really good I was happy, I thought I offered an option in behind, though I was a good outlet and the fans were quality as well”
When asked about his high work rate throughout the game, Devante spoke about how playing upfront meant giving 100% at all times:
“You have to give it your all, 100% at all times but I’ve not played many games this season, so it was tough. Game by game I will get fitter and do more running”
Devante also spoke about what fans should expect to see throughout the rest of his loan:
“I’m a pacey forward, I like it played in behind but also to feet. I love to score goals but I 100% try and give my best into every game”
