Ahead of this weekend’s FA Trophy clash between FC Halifax Town and Barrow, we look at some of the news from clubs from around the Vanarama National League.

Leyton Orient have confirmed that James Dayton has suffered a serious knee injury. Dayton has had surgery and will be out of action for the next couple of months.

Gateshead volunteer Les McCourt has been awarded Vanarama National League volunteer of the month. McCourt has been working with Gateshead for over 10 years, and has helped with stewarding, programme distribution, and hospitality.

Eastleigh have announced new signing Jack McKnight from Basingstoke Town. The attacking midfielder had scored 10 goals for Basingstoke, with the 21-year-old winning player of the month for two successive months.

Luke Coulson has joined Bromley from fellow National League side Ebbsfleet United. Coulson made over 70 appearances for the Fleet scoring 13 goals.

Hartlepool United have confirmed Richard Money as new first team manager. Money was able to achieve a runners-up spot in the National League with his first season at Luton Town as well as a League Two title with Walsall.

Chesterfield have signed Doncaster Rovers midfielder Alfie Beestin on a one-month loan. Beestin has made over 30 appearances for Doncaster across two seasons scoring 3 goals.

Dover Athletic have added to their defence with signing Scott Doe. Doe has National League experience having captained Dagenham & Redbridge before a brief spell with National League South side Billericay Town.
