FC Halifax return to action this Tuesday as they welcome Morcambe to the MBi Shay Stadium in The FA Cup first-round replay. Here we’ll take a look at the form of the two sides.
The Shaymen come into the game after picking up their first league win since the 27th August at the weekend beating Dover 1-0. Morcambe also won at the weekend beating Forest Green Rovers 1-0 away from home.
The shrimps come into the game sitting in 19th position in League Two. Morcambe come into the game having only lost one game out of five in all competitions. Having lost 1-0 to Sunderland in the EFL cup.
Morcambes’ win against Forest Green Rovers was their second in their last five the first been a 2-1 home win over Yeovil Town.
Morcambe have also drawn against Newport County 1-1 after conceding within the first minute on their trip to Wales.
The Shaymen come into the game high on confidence after getting win against on Dover and solid away draw against Solihull Moors. Also a solid performance against Morcambe first time round and only missed out victory of the linesman raising his flag cancelling out Jonathan Edwards header in added time.
