FC Halifax Town are on the road again this weekend as they make the long trip down to Havant & Waterlooville. Here weโ€™ll take a look at the forms of the two teams.

The Shaymen come into the weekends fixture after a positive 0-0 draw against Solihull Moors away at Damson Park. Havant & Waterlooville come off a surprising 7-0 pummelling of Maidenhead United.

The Hawks currently find themselves in 22nd position in the league on 14 points, just a point from behind Dagenham & Redbridge who our outside the bottom four. The win on Tuesday for The Hawks against Maidenhead was their first since 5th September when they beat Aldershot Town 2-1. Since then they have lost seven out of nine fixtures. Including a shock FA Cup defeat to the Metropolitan Police (1-0) in the fourth qualifying round.
In that nine game run without victories The Hawks played tough opposition all challenging for promotion. They ran the surprise package of the league this year Harrogate Town close losing 3-2, were leading against Sutton United going into the last half an hour but managed to lose the game 1-2. They felt last minute heartbreak at home to Solihull conceding a goal in the third minute of added time to lose 1-0, Wrexham brushed them aside 1-0, the Welsh side arguably shouldโ€™ve got more than just the one goal as Hawks keeper Dudzinski pulled of five strong saves. Finally last Saturday The Hawks were dismantled 4-0 away to then league leaders Leyton Orient conceding three before half time.
Fun stat for you now. The Hawks have only failed to score in three games this season, the 4-0 loss to Leyton Orient, 0-0 draw to Boreham Wood and a 3-0 loss to Barrow on the first day of the season. So goals may be flying in this Saturday.

For The Shaymen theyโ€™re still looking for a victory in the league since the 1-0 win over Gateshead on Bank Holiday Monday at the end of August, but they do come into this fixture high on confidence after putting in a strong performance and gaining a positive 0-0 draw away to Solihull. With this point earned Town gained a place over Barrow and now sit 13th in the league on 22 points.

This game is being played down at West Leigh Park. If you are unable to make the trip down and still want to support The Shaymen, you can listen to live audio direct from the ground at 2:45pm this Saturday.
