FC Halifax Town drew 2-2 with Bromley this afternoon we caught up with new signing Kyle Wootton who joined the Club from Scunthorpe United on a month’s loan.

Welcome to Halifax, a deserved 2-2 a draw against a physical strong defence, showing determination to coming back to equalise twice

Yeah definitely, the lads dug deep to equalise twice especially 2-1 down with 10 minutes to go literally in added time and the lads kept at it and they got the goal they deserved in the end.

Do you feel slightly aggrievedΒ not to get all three points in the end with all the pressure you were putting on them towards the end and the soft penalty decision?

Yeah, we were the better side for most of the time we had most of the possession and we could’ve probably created a bit more in the final third but overall, I think we were the better side.

Let’s talk about you, new signing the new striker to the club, what can you bring to the club as a person and a player?

As a person I’ll give it 100% every training session no matter what. As a player obviously I’m a big guy, so I’m physical and as the manager said we’re lacking that now, that’s why he brought me in to add a little something else to the team.

Do you enjoy the physical side to the game, Bromley today very physical side they had three big tall centre defenders?

Yeah, I do, obviously that’s my job and how I play but it’s not just about that I’m good with my feet as well, I can move in behind and make runs. It’s not just about my physicality it’s about what else I can bring to the team.

Obviously, you were on the bench today, in the short time you’re here at the club do you feel you can force yourself into the starting 11?

Yeah obviously I don’t want to be anywhere just to sit around, if I’ve got an opportunity to come out on loan why not? It’s a good squad I won’t just walk into the team I’ll give it everything I’ve got.

Looking to next week, long trip back down to London what are you expecting and how are you preparing against a good team?

They’ve been doing well, it’s a nice pitch to pass the ball around and play. We’ll go there looking to take the three points back home.
