Bromley 0-0 Barrow
Both teams came in to this game with very different intentions for gaining three points. The 0-0 draw means that both clubs will have a nail-biting final game of the season if they are to succeed in gaining their respective aspirations, as Bromley move up to eighth but will most likely need Boreham Wood, who occupy 7th place and have two more points than Bromley, to lose their next game if they are to make it in to the top seven. Barrow meanwhile remain in 20th place and have just one point holding them above the relegation zone.
Gateshead 2-5 Ebbsfleet
Before the game Ebbsfleet had dropped to eighth place in the standings after a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Sutton United. This victory against the Tynesiders shot them back in to the play-offs. The most notable highlight of the game is a fantastic hat-trick scored by former Gillingham striker Danny Kedwell who scored a penalty in the first-half, scored again to restore the Ebbsfleet lead in the second half and then scoring his third by slamming the ball home from a corner.
Leyton Orient 0-1 Maidenhead
Maidenhead were looking to get back to winning ways as they lost 1-0 to promotion chasing Wrexham coming in to the game. Ryan Upward scored the only goal of the game ensuring that Maidenhead will finish in the top half of the National League table ahead of the O’s in 12th place. Upward was involved in proceedings later on but for the wrong reasons, as he was sent off in the second half for reacting angrily to an Orient free-kick.
Torquay 3-4 Guiseley
It was a battle for just pride as these two already relegated sides faced each other. Despite the away side being forced to play with ten men after just three minutes, the subsequent Torquay penalty that was saved provided a catalyst for Guiseley to push on and win the game. Rhys Healey scored a hat-trick for the Gulls but it was too little, too late.
Tranmere 1-2 Solihull Moors
An in-form Solihull Moors had vastly improved recently, putting together a nine game unbeaten run that has ensured they were above the relegation zone in 19th place, coming in to the game against second placed Tranmere. By winning this game Solihull have secured their place in the National League for next season. Jeremy Osborne put the visitors ahead just after 30 minutes of play which was followed by Alex Reid’s powerful strike in the second half. Just four minutes after Reid’s goal, The Super White Army scored what would prove to be merely a consolation through Davern Green’s goal.
