Over the weekend Ebbsfleet United came back from Matthew Kosylo’s opener to turn over Halifax to a 2-1 defeat at the Shay.
They will remain in Calderdale for their next fixture against Hartlepool United who were the victors of a five-goal thriller at Victoria Park. But let’s take a look at the other games that are happening in the Vanarama National League.
Barrow, who are level with Halifax on points, will host Gateshead at the Furness Building Society Stadium. Barrow’s loanee from Forest Green Rovers, Luke James, helped his side by scoring the only goal in the game in the 31st minute against Maidstone United.
Meanwhile, the visitors Gateshead will be looking to add to their eight-point advantage over Halifax and their next opponents Barrow. The Tynesiders will be looking to bounce back after their 2-1 loss to Boreham Wood.
Both of the team’s opponents Boreham Wood and Maidstone United will face each other on Tuesday night.
A top of the table clash will be taking place on Tuesday night as the runners up Tranmere Rovers will be hosting the league leaders Macclesfield at Prenton Park. The hosts will be hoping to decrease the four-point deficit that separate the two sides.
On the other hand, the league leaders are unbeaten in three games and managed to defeat Aldershot Town who are sitting in third position and the latter finished their game with 10-men after losing their defender Will Evans after five minutes of game time.
Aldershot will be looking to bounce back where they’ll play Bromley at Hayes Lane. Bromley will also be looking for a win if they are cement a spot in the play-offs.
In the middle of the league table, Maidenhead will clash with Eastleigh. Both teams have 44 points to their names and only three goals separate the former from the latter.
The visitors Eastleigh will be lacking confidence after losing 3-1 to Chester at the Deva Stadium whilst the hosts Maidenhead will be feeling the opposite after beating Guiseley 3-1 away at Nethermoor Park.
The Lions will remain at Nethermoor on Tuesday night as they host Fylde, both teams will be looking to bounce back from their defeats as Fylde also lost over the weekend to Leyton Orient.
Another clash in the middle of the table will occur between Dover Athetic and Dagenham & Redbridge, a win for the Daggers will put them level with Dover in the table but it’s the hosts who still have the advantage of goal difference so a thrilling performance from the Daggers will help them climb the table.
Chester and Leyton Orient, who were victors over Guiseley and Fylde will also be playing against each other at the Deva Stadium.
Wrexham, who are also chasing the top spot will be travelling to Damson Park to face Solihull Moors where the Moors will be desperate to climb out of the relegation zone.
Sutton United who rest in fifth position, will travel to Plainmoor to face Torquay. A win for Sutton will help continue their chase for the top spot, where as a lost for Torquay will keep them in the relegation zone for another week.
