Good afternoon, and welcome to you all. We passed through Ebbsfleet the other week on our train journey to Dover. Amazing how short a journey it is from central London (on the Eurostar line), a fact I suspect many Ebbsfleet fans regularly take advantage of.

I mentioned in my previous programme notes that we have had replacement tables made for our Memorabilia stall beneath the East Stand. Since then I have discovered that they were actually constructed by David Haley, so a big thanks to David from us all. As The Dagenham game was actually postponed and has yet to be replayed, some may be puzzled by my reference to the notes. The simple fact is that the notes also appear on the FCHT Club website, so many people could well have viewed them already.

The aforementioned notes also contained details of our forthcoming Supporters Club sponsored match, which will actually take place before the replayed Dagenham fixture. For this reason, I make no apology for repeating the fact that it will take place on the occasion of the Sutton match on Saturday March 3rd. There is still time to book on this three-course-meal event, which cost ยฃ40 for season ticket holders and ยฃ40 for others (match ticket included). Names should be given to either of the bucket collectors โ€“ you should know where to find us both by now!

Our intrepid walkers will also be looking for donations towards our Sponsored Walk to Guiseley on Saturday March 17th. We have set ourselves the task of slogging the 17-18 miles on the morning of the game, a feat which will certainly test the majority of us severely. Hopefully you will give generously, as we would like to think our efforts are worthwhile. Phil Knott has composed what I would call an โ€œinterestingโ€ route, and has discovered a couple of places we should be able to receive sustenance of sorts โ€“ solid or liquid!

I know which I intend opting for!

See you soon,ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Kit.
