After Tuesday night’s loss to Leyton Orient, FC Halifax Town will be preparing for another home tie against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.

Two games are to be postponed for Round 32 in the Vanarama National League, Boreham Wood v Maidenhead United and Aldershot Town v Gateshead will be rescheduled for a later date.

After losing to Woking over the weekend, Fylde will host Eastleigh as the latter will hope to get another win after their seven-goal thriller against Hartlepool United.

Leading up to the game, Fylde have announced that they have extended the loan deals for a trio of young stars.

Wigan Athletic duo Luke Burke and Sam Stubbs have extended their loans until the end of the season, as has Bristol City starlet Jonny Smith.

Full-back Burke, 19, has impressed since joining on loan from the Latics in August, making 22 appearances for Dave Challinor’s side.

Fellow Wigan defender Stubbs, 19, signed on an initial one-month loan in December and impressed alongside Jordan Tunnicliffe, helping the Coasters to two clean sheets in four appearances.

Smith, 20, has become a real fans favourite at the club following a string of dazzling displays.

The pacy winger has netted six goals in 35 appearances in all competitions – including two in his last four starts – and has missed just one league game this season.

After a tough battle with their promotion rivals Wrexham, Tranmere will have home advantage against Ebbsfleet United, the latter will hope to recover from their 3-0 loss against Boreham Wood at their own ground.

Ebbsfleet boss Daryl McMahon will be hoping for a better performance. He told the website:

“We’ll probably be all right because it’s against a big team, a big club at this level and normally we’re all right against them,” he conceded. “So, I expect a reaction from today and a much better performance. I think if you look at every ex-League team, or the derbies, in general we’ve been good in them games.”

Elsewhere, after an unexpected draw against the league leaders Macclesfield, Torquay will return to Plainmoor to host Barrow.

Barrow, who still have two games in hand will look to take this opportunity to climb up the table. They’ve still yet to play since their 2-0 loss to Brackley Town at home in the FA Trophy.

Finally, Wrexham will travel to Nethermoor to play Guiseley as their aims for promotion are still alive.

The hosts have confirmed that Curtis Morrison has returned from his loan at Buxton and will now join Matlock Town for a temporary switch until the end of the season.

Returning to Nethermoor is striker Frank Mulhern after his one-month spell at Alfreton Town came to an end. The 20-year-old will be available for selection.

Wrexham will hope to improve on their second consecutive draw with a win, The Dragons drew to 2-2 in their previous game as well as drawing 0-0 to Gateshead in last night’s match.

See you at the Shay on Saturday for the tie against Dagenham & Redbridge. Enjoy the game.
