FC Halifax Town Matty Brown has said that the squad must stick together after they suffered a devastating 1-0 home defeat to Barrow AFC this afternoon.
Jordan Whiteβs second-half header gave Barrow all three points at the MBi Shay Stadium and stretched winless in the Vanarama National League to 11 matches.
Brown has insisted that the team will continue to be close knit together despite their recent disappointing spell.
βWe will all stick together,β Brown told ShaymenTV post-match, βand weβve got to stick together more than ever now to come through this period.
βItβs just hard to take but we just need to ride the storm and come out of it.β
The Halifax captain has the result was even more disappointing considering that Town dominated much of the game against the Cumbrian side.
βThey didnβt really threaten our goal,β Brown continued. βBut, it has gone in and itβs just hard to take really.
βWeβve done relatively well, weβve created chances in the first-half. But, itβs just that bit of luck at the moment, things just arenβt going our way at the minute.
βYou canβt fault any of the lads, weβre working hard. Itβs just not happening for us at the moment and that sometimes happens in football.
βBut, we just need to stay together the push through it.β
