The visitors at the MBi Shay Stadium this Saturday are 18th place Eastleigh.

On Tuesday night Richard Hill’s side drew 2-2 with Maidenhead, thanks to a 93rd minute equaliser from Ben Williamson.

Eastleigh have managed 3 wins in their last ten games, drawing 2, meaning they’ve lost 5.

However, the team from Hampshire haven’t won an away game in their last 4 games, creating the perfect opportunity they’ve been trying to get for so long.

Saturday’s visitors are also sliding down the National League alongside the Shaymen. They sit in 18th, one place below Halifax, also one point behind them.

The form of Ben Williamson has been a positive to the Spitfires. The 28-year-old centre forward has bagged 5 goals in the clubs last 9 games.

Halifax have been missing this so far, this season. The Shaymen have struggled for goals and especially in recent games. Only 5 goals have been scored by Shaymen players in the sides last 9 games.

Billy Heath’s side have also been struggling for points recently as well. Having picked up less points than any other team in the League in the last 6 games Halifax are sliding towards a relegation fight.

The players will be hoping to make the MBI Shay Stadium a difficult place to come again. The last win at home came on the 23rd of September against Bromley and everyone at Halifax will be hoping this poor form changes soon.
