FC Halifax Townโ€™s woes continue as they return from Merseyside having been defeated 4-2 by Tranmere Rovers.

A James Norwood double rocked the Shaymen early on, but Matty Brown could half the deficit after half time. However, only a minute after the captainโ€™s goal, Larnell Cole regained Roversโ€™ two goal lead, before Dylan Mottley-Henry put the game to bed.

Debutant Daniel Batty grabbed a second for Town, as Billy Heathโ€™s men fail to win in a sixth consecutive league game.

Adrian Pennockโ€™s reign at Barrow got off to a dream start as an Adi Yussuf hat trick gave his side a 3-1 win over Aldershot Town.

Scott Rendell tried to start a comeback after the break, but The Shots saw their four-game unbeaten run come to an end.

It was a thrilling first half at Meadow Park as those present saw four goals.

Dan Holman got the first on the 24th minute, before the ball bounced off Jamie Turley into the back of his own net.

Turley would rectify his mistake not long after though, with his 40th minute strike bringing the score line back to 2-2 after Luke Wanadio put Bromley up 2 minutes earlier.

Dover Athletic went into this game against Gateshead looking to consolidate their place at the top of the table.

But a drab goalless affair was all they could reward the 58 fans who travelled the 346-mile journey from the south coast.

Fortunately for Chris Kinnearโ€™s side, a point was all they needed as rivals Macclesfield Town were defeated 2-1 by Eastleigh.

2 goals in 5 minutes for Mark Yeates was all the Spitfires needed to cause an upset at the Moss Rose.

Danny Whitehead got one back for The Silkmen, but it wasnโ€™t enough in the end.

It finished one-a-piece between Maidenhead United and Dagenham & Redbridge.

Remy Clerima broke the deadlock 5 minutes from the break, before a 3rd goal of the season for Michael Cheek meant both teams take a point each from the encounter.

Maidstone United left it late to beat Chester 1-0 at the Gallagher Stadium.

A 95th minute Alex Finney made meant Chester had a taste of their own medicine following their late winner earlier in the week.

Solihull Moors went into the fixture looking for their 2nd win under the stewardship of Richard Money, but it was AFC Fylde who were right on the money in this one.

The Coasters left it late in the first half as goals in the 44th and 1 minute into extra time from Jonny Smith and Danny Rowe were sucker punches for Solihull.

Second half goals from Sam Finley and Jack Muldoon capped off a good day for Dave Challinorโ€™s men.

There was nothing to write home about from the Knights Community Stadium as Sutton United and Ebbsfleet United ended 0-0.

Hartlepool Unitedโ€™s resurgence continues thanks to a Rhys Oates double against fellow former Football League side Torquay United.

The Gulls went into this one having picked up 4 points in their last 2 after their own poor start to the campaign, but remain in 23rd position.

Woking have now lost their last three on the bounce after Guiseley came from behind to win 3-2.

A 20-yard effort from Declan Appau found the top corner early on, but a Rowan Liburd double either side of half time gave Guiseley the lead.

Regan Charles-Cook levelled on the 65th minute but Alex-Ray Harvey got the winner less than 9 minutes later for the Yorkshire side.

Wrexham were looking to bounce back after their 11-game unbeaten streak came to an end midweek, but a Mark Ellis equaliser in the 85th minute meant the Dragons had to settle for a point.

Macauley Bonneโ€™s 8th of the season ruled out Chris Holroydโ€™s first minute opener.

Holroyd would pounce again on the 71st minute, before Ellis levelled 5 minutes from time.
