FC Halifax Town’s under-19’s travel to Victoria Park this evening (7pm kick off) looking to continue their run in the FA Youth Cup with a victory in the third qualifying round against Hartlepool United.
Halifax comfortably progress to this stage of the competition with a 4-1 victory over Abbey Hey at The MBi Shay Stadium, with Eliel Anku scoring a hat-trick for The Shaymen.
Mark Trueman’s side also won by the same score-line against Gateshead in The National Alliance League last month.
Meanwhile, Hartlepool head into this fixture on the back of a strong 3-0 away win at Morpeth Town in the second qualifying round of the Cup whilst also recording another 3-0 victory over Morecambe last week.
