Torquay put four goals past newly promoted Maidenhead with no reply to pick up their first win of the season, but still sit bottom of the table.

Former Halifax manager Neil Aspin has left his role as the manager of Gateshead to take over at Port Vale. He has over 600 games of management under his belt in non-league and is a club legend at Port Vale.

Solihull Moors have parted ways with manager Liam McDonald by agreement. His departure has come from Solihull Moors having a disappointing start to the campaign, sitting in 23rd place with eight points.

It’s non-league day this coming Saturday. Non-league day was set up to invite fans of all clubs to come down to see their local non-league side play whilst it’s the international break for the bigger league clubs.

Chorley have signed former Ajax youngster Rene Osei Kofi. The 25-year-old had trained with them for the past month and has impressed, therefore signing a contract with The Magpies.
