Former West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Watford midfielder Jobi McAnuff is one of the most high-profile names to play in non-league football and is set to feature in Leyton Orientโ€™s midfield on Tuesday evening.

McAnuff entered his second stint at Orient following a move from Stevenage in July, having previously played for the London-club between July 2014 and May 2016.

The midfielder has established himself as a first-choice regular under Steve Davis this season, playing eight times, with six of those being starts.

McAnuff began his career at the now extinct Wimbledon where he came through their academy ranks before playing close to 100 matches and scoring 13 times.

In 2003, he signed for West Ham United but he struggled to hold down a regular position as he had done at Wimbledon as he managed just a dozen appearances in his debut season.

McAnuff enjoyed a successful season in 2004/05 with Cardiff following a ยฃ250,000 move, playing 43 times for The Bluebirds before he moved back to London, signing for Crystal Palace for ยฃ600,000.

A move to fellow Championship side Watford came in 2007 after a couple of good seasons at Selhurst Park and McAnuff again enjoyed a two-season spell in Hertfordshire, racking up 79 league appearances and contributing five goals.

In 2009, McAnuff joined Reading after three seasons with The Royals he was part of the Brian McDermott side that won promotion back to the Premier League after a four-season absence.

McAnuff was an ever-present in his debut campaign in Englandโ€™s top-flight although he couldnโ€™t manage a goal in his 38 matches as Reading were relegated back to the second-tier.

After a season, back in the Championship with Reading, McAnuff dropped down to League One to sign with Leyton Orient but suffered his second relegation in three seasons as Orient fell to fourth-tier.

He went onto play a handful of times for the club in League Two before joining fellow London side Stevenage for a season.

In July, he re-joined Orient on a one-year deal becoming the clubโ€™s tenth summer signing after they fell into the Vanarama National League.

McAnuff also has international experience to his football CV, having earned 32 caps for Jamaica, who he qualifies to play for through his father, with his solitary goal for his country coming against Costa Rica in 2015.
